The Brampton Soccer Club (BSC) is a non-profit youth sports organization run by volunteers, just like you.

For the outdoor league program, each player will be issued a uniform consisting of a jersey, shorts, and socks. This is the uniform that is covered in your registration fees and MUST be the only uniform worn to games. If the uniform does not fit properly, suitable arrangements can be made through your team’s coach to correct this.

Players will need to provide their own soccer shoes or cleats, and a pair of shin guards. Shin guards must be worn at all times during practices and games. Absolutely no jewellery is to be worn during practices or games as a safety precaution.

In the outdoor program, each player will also be provided with a soccer ball, and individual and team pictures. The BSC will hold all unclaimed pictures until September 30th, after which they will be destroyed.

Player requests for specific coaches or players on their team are discouraged in order to prevent the development of teams with uneven skill distributions. Any such request will be given consideration on an individual, case-by-case basis; no guarantees will be given.

Volunteer Coaches for U13 – U18 will be required to complete the OSA online module for U11 - U18 Coaches.

At the beginning of a new season, coaches will contact parents by email 10 to 14 days before the season starts.

Coaches from U06 - U18 may schedule a practice each week. However, weekly practices are not mandatory and are at the discretion of the coach. Practices will be held on our local fields within the City of Brampton. If you are concerned your team is not getting enough practice time, please talk to your coach. Sometimes, offering to help with organizing practices, or assisting the coach during the season can be part of the solution.

BSC’s Club Policy is such that each micro, mini, and house league player must play a minimum of 50% of each game; this is considered equal playing time by the club.

All games will be played on our local fields within the City of Brampton. All outdoor games MUST begin and end on time, as the fields are heavily booked outside of scheduled game times.

On the last day of the season, U04 - U05 players will receive a participation trophy. U06 - U12 player will receive a participation medal. U13 - U18 players will have the opportunity to win a LEAGUE CHAMPION medals during the cup final match.

Be the change you want to see. Sportsmanship is best expressed through leadership and example. Keep this in mind at all times when dealing with coaches, referees, players, and parents. We want this to be a positive experience for everyone involved, including players, supporters, and parents.
