Indoor League Programs
Micro League U04 - U05 Boys & Girls
Ages: 4-5

The Micro League is an exciting way to begin your ‘first steps, first kicks’. Players will have one session per week for 14 weeks led by our Brampton SC Technical Coaches. In the framework of Long-Term-Player-Development (LTPD) coaches will set up an Active Start program with drills designed to encourage children to enjoy becoming friends with the ball and experience running with the ball, stopping and changing direction with the ball, dribbling, kicking, shooting. Followed by a fun and imaginative 3v3 small sided scrimmage to introduce them to team play. BSC will engage the parents within this part of the developmental matrix, of which a parent and child environment is encouraged for development; don’t be shy step up and make a difference. No soccer experience is required. No scores or standings will be kept to encourage skills development as opposed to competition.

Mini League U06 – U08 Boys & Girls
Ages: 6-8

The Mini league program is where the actual ‘FUN’ begins, and players start to move into a team format. Players will play a game once a week for 14 weeks and you may have a practice each week as well. In the framework of Long-Term-Player-Development (LTPD) volunteer coaches will follow the FUNdamentals program – no scores or standings will be kept to encourage skills development as opposed to competition. The most important focus at this age is the continued development of physical literacy and the recognition that individual technique development is paramount. Small sided games (4v4 or 5v5) will be directed by Game Leaders. Players will have fair playing time in all positions to make a fun-filled small-sized game environment for the players on the field. No soccer experience is required.

Mini League U09 – U12 Boys & Girls
Ages: 9-12

The Mini league program is where the actual ‘FUN’ begins, and players start to move into a team format. Players will play a game once a week for 14 weeks and you may have a practice each week as well. In the framework of Long-Term-Player-Development (LTPD) volunteer coaches will follow the FUNdamentals program – no scores or standings will be kept to encourage skills development as opposed to competition. The Mini league is where actual game play begins. Coaches may schedule weekly practices, and teams will participate in one game each week. Attendance at practice is not mandatory. However, practices are often where coaches provide one-on-one instruction for player’s to further develop their skills. In the spirit of Long Term Player Development (LTPD), no scores or standings will be kept during games to encourage the development of skills, rather than promoting competition. Parents are encouraged to cheer for teams, coaches, and game officials regardless of their performance. Coaches for this age group are typically volunteer parents, or students. Coaching can be an excellent way to teach your little one about the value of team play and how everyone can make a contribution, no matter how small.

Mini League U13 – U18 Boys & Girls
Ages: 13-18

This Mini league is ‘The Golden Age’ of play which concentrates on continuing the development of the ABC’s of Agility, Balance and Coordination plus speed. Players will play a game once a week for 14 weeks and you may have a practice each week as well. In the framework of the Long-Term-Player-Development (LTPD) volunteer coaches will follow the Learning to Train programs – no scores or standings will be kept to encourage skills development as opposed to competition. Games will be played in the 7v7 or 9v9 format and officiated by a Match Official. Players will have fair playing time in all positions; skill development at this stage will be well structured, positive and FUN. Parents are encouraged to cheer everyone on, players, coaches and game officials no matter what their performance, everyone is learning, spectators too.

Brampton SC will also be providing Technical training once a week with our Certified Staff Coaches for all Recreational (HL) players to continue their development under the Brampton SC curriculum.

In the House League, LTPD is continued until U13, when competitive play begins. Starting from U13, we keep scores and standings, and organize playoffs and a cup final during each season. With exciting action and lively spectators, this age group has become the highlight of our club! Players of every skill level (from novice to veteran) are represented on each team in order to create balanced teams with competitive and rewarding game play. With weekly games and scheduled practices, recreational play at the level is inviting for all players. Coaches for this age group are typically volunteers with previous soccer experience, as play at this level is competitive.

HOUSE LEAGUE U13 – U18 BOYS & GIRLS
Ages: 13-18

Competitive play begins at U13 where players move into the framework of ‘Soccer for Life’ program. Players have one game each week and a practice make recreational play at this level inviting for all players; keeping scores and standings for a full program of 14-16 weeks with playoffs and a cup final. Exciting action and lively spectators make these age groups the highlight of our club. You will have players of every skill level on every team from novice to seasoned veterans, balanced out to make each team as competitive as possible. Coaches are volunteers with previous experience and hold the Respect in Sport certificate.

Brampton SC will also be providing Technical training once a week with our Certified Staff Coaches for all Recreational (HL) players to continue their development under the Brampton SC curriculum.

U06 – U18 GIRLS – SKILLS & DRILLS SESSION
Ages: 6-18

Designed specifically for recreational players wishing to gain extra training and improve their technical skills in a FUN and structured environment. This being ‘The Golden Age’ of play Brampton SC Technical Coaches will concentrate on continuing the development of the ABC’s of Agility, Balance and Coordination plus speed. This NEW initiation program will run this Outdoor 2019 season. Will be open FREE sessions for all House League GIRLS run by Technical Staff members.

Select Teams U8 to U12 BOYS & GIRLS
Ages: 8-12

Select Teams are made up of the very talented players in their respective age groups. Players will play according to the Ontario Soccer and the Peel Halton Soccer Associations Long-Term-Player-Development (LTPD) Program. There will be no scores and no standings. Emphasis being on ‘The Golden Age’ of play Brampton SC Technical Coaches will concentrate on continuing the development of the ABC’s of Agility, Balance and Coordination plus speed of each player. You must attend an Orientation Trial for this level of play and if selected a non-refundable surcharge of $460 will be added. If not selected, you would then have to register for the House League if you wish to play this season.

BRAMPTON SOCCER CLUB runs an inclusive program at the development stage. No player will be left behind – developing players at the grassroots is what BSC does simply the best – stronger together!

Representative Teams U13 to U18 BOYS & GIRLS
Ages: 13-18

Representative Teams are made up of the very best players in their respective age groups. Players will play at the highest level of play and is fully competitive – scores and standings are kept. Teams would have the possibility to enter the Ontario Cup Tournament event. Emphasis is placed on being the best player you can possibly be – advancing competitive development. You must attend a tryout for this level of play and if selected a non-refundable surcharge of $475 will be added. If not selected, you would then have to register for the House League if you wish to play this season.

Outdoor League Programs

Players have one game each week and a practice make recreational play at this level inviting for all players; keeping scores and standings for a full program of 14-16 weeks with playoffs and a cup final. Exciting action and lively spectators make these age groups the highlight of our club. You will have players of every skill level on every team from novice to seasoned veterans, balanced out to make each team as competitive as possible. Coaches are volunteers with previous experience and hold the Respect in Sport certificate.

Brampton SC will also be providing Technical training once a week with our Certified Staff Coaches for all Recreational (HL) players to continue their development under the Brampton SC curriculum.

U06 – U18 Girls Born in 2013 to 2001 – SKILLS & DRILLS SESSION
Ages: 6-18
