Dear BSC Members,

We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

Yesterday, the Government of Ontario announced their new Provincial wide 3-step reopening plan which is a positive step forward for Return to play. This news provides Sport organizations with a roadmap to prepare for resuming in-person soccer activities in the nearer future. After yesterday’s announcement from the Government, we will await for the updated Ontario Soccer Return to play framework as those details will guide us on the protocols.

As of May 22nd, outdoor recreational amenities across Ontario including Soccer fields will be open to the public with a gathering size limit of 5 people. Currently, no outdoor Team Sports or Recreational classes are permitted Province wide based on the recent announcements from the Government.

Phase 1 of the Ontario 3-step reopening plan is targeted to start on June 14th, and we will share the latest Return to play framework, once that is released by Ontario Soccer.

We will have more information to communicate on Return to play (RTP), Frameworks, Timelines and Protocols for our Club-Wide members meeting on Thursday May 27th. Below are the meeting details:

  • Date: May 27, 2021
  • Time: 8:30pm EST
  • Zoom Link: Shared via teamsnap and e-mail.

Please be patient as we receive and gather information from our Provincial Sport Organization and Government authorities. Once full clarity has been provided to Brampton SC, we will progress with our RTP process in an efficient and timely manner to get our Youth players reintegrated into Soccer!

We thank you for your patience and empathy during these unique and unprecedented times. Our sole focus during this period is to get our players back on the field as soon as possible. BSC looks forward to seeing our players back on the field in the coming weeks!

Stay Healthy – Stay Safe!
