So far, most municipalities are currently following the same measures as we are in Peel with regards to Team Sports and Proof of Vaccination.

I do want to highlight that York Region has taken a different stance as of yesterday and will impact the Provincial Indoor Soccer League:

Effective as of Friday October 1st 2021 at 12:01am, all facility users aged 12 and over (including players, coaches, staff, volunteers, match officials, parents and spectators) are required to provide proof of full vaccination upon entry into any indoor facility, as well as a valid form of identification. Mask wearing and contact tracing protocols also remain in place for all facility users.

Fully vaccinated is defined as:

“a person has received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or any combination of such vaccines, one or two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada, followed by one dose of a COVID19 mRNA vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada; and they received their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before providing the proof of being fully vaccinated”

We will continue to follow all Government directives and we encourage participants to get their full vaccination if they wish to avoid any potential restrictions through the Indoor Phase.

As more information comes through to Brampton SC, we will ensure to update all BSC members.
